WHAT IS STRINGS ABOUT?
Two fated lovers who meet at the wrong time struggle to maintain their friendship due to their secret, slowly-erupting love for each other. However, their traditional views of love, along with their mutual moral beliefs, prevent them from acting upon their hidden desires. STRINGS follows both our main characters and how they deal with forbidden love and wrong timing. The film takes an unapologetic look at interpersonal relationships, that will provoke difficult conversations around complex issues in marriage, commitment and timing.

Based on the First #PoetryisSexy Poem STRINGS
An unhappily married publisher and a former bestselling author secretly fall for each other which challenges their values, their business relationship, and most of all, their friendship.
Strings is unlike any love story you’ve ever seen! Kat is an unhappy housewife who has aspired to be a writer her whole life. One day she meets, E, a struggling former best selling author, and they have instant chemistry. Their relationship quickly develops from a writing mentor to best friends to business partners. From this relationship, Kat transforms from an aspiring writer to a publisher, helping her best friend E, find success and a second chance with his collections of poems. Kat finances the book through her wealthy husband who has always supported her. Kat and E’s work relationship intensifies and the two develop secret feelings, which neither act upon causing tension and an eventual severe fallout between them. E refuses to finish the book of poems causing Kat to send E an unexpected gift the day before her birthday. Now he has to face his inner demons and the agonizing truth about Kat that’s held a secret throughout the entire story. This secret helps E find the inspiration to finish the final poem she demanded from him during their last and final confrontation.
Throughout the entire film, flashbacks will reveal the tumultuous relationship between E and Kat, as well as her marriage, her true feelings for E, and the catalyst for his final poem.
